Managing company music on hold

Music on hold plays when callers are on hold or waiting in a queue. You can add a greeting before the music, and mix in messages between songs.

Important: Only use music you're licensed to use.

Open music on hold

In the Office Manager view, click Music On Hold.

Add music

1. Click Add Music.
2. Click Browse and choose an MP3 or WAV file.
3. Enter a Song Name.
4. Click Upload. Click the play icon next to it to listen.

Change the order

Files play top to bottom unless random play is on.

1. Hover over the up/down arrows on the left of a file.
2. Drag it where you want it and let go.
3. Click Save.

Rename or delete

• Rename: click the file name, change it, and click Save.
• Delete: hover over it, click the delete icon on the far right, then click Yes.

Settings

• Use the Enable Music on Hold switch at the top right to turn music on hold on or off.
• Check Randomize music to play files in random order.
• In the Messages panel, click Add Introduction to play a greeting before the music, or Add Message to add messages between songs.
