Time frames tell the system when your office is open, closed, or on holiday. They only take effect once they're used in an answering rule or phone menu. When more than one matches, the first one that matches wins.
Open time frames
In the Office Manager view, click Time Frames. Search at the top-left to see a specific user's personal time frames.
Add a time frame
- Click Add Time Frame.
- Enter a Name.
- Choose When:
- Always – all day, every day. Good for a "Closed Hours" catch-all placed below your other rules.
- Days of the week and times – check each day, then drag the blue bar to set hours (it starts at 9 AM to 5 PM). Click the add icon to add a second block of time in a day.
- Specific dates or ranges – pick start and end dates from the calendar. Great for holidays and closures.
- Click Save.
Edit, delete, or check dates
- Edit: click the time frame's name, change when it applies, and click Save. (You can't rename a time frame.)
- Delete: hover over it, click the delete icon, then click Yes.
- See start and end dates: hover over its description.
Tip: Dialing *329 from a phone switches the "Day" time frame on or off for inbound routing. Ask UnaDial support whether your system uses it.
