Moving a phone to a different user

If someone moves to a different office, it's usually easiest to move their phone with them. Their extension follows the phone.

To assign a phone to a different extension instead:

1. In the Office Manager view, click Inventory, then the Phone Hardware tab.
2. Click the MAC address of the phone.
3. Change the phone's line to the new extension.
4. Click Save. If you see an arrow next to Save, choose Save and resync instead so the phone reloads right away. Otherwise, restart the phone.
