Set up speed dials for co-workers. Each one can also show whether that person is free, ringing, or on a call. This is called a Busy Lamp Field (BLF).
Each speed dial shows one of three statuses:
- Idle – available
- Ringing – getting a call
- On Call – talking on the phone
Add a speed dial
- Tap Quick Dial in the main menu.
- Tap the + icon.
- In Title, type a name, like "Front Desk."
- In Number or SIP Address, enter the person's extension, then @, then your company ID, like 101@yourcompany. This uses the same ending as your own login name.
- Turn on Enable Busy Lamp Field to see their status.
- Tap Save, then DONE.
Good to know: You can only see the status of people on your own company's phone system.
Delete a speed dial
- Tap Quick Dial in the main menu.
- Tap EDIT. An x appears on each speed dial.
- Tap the x on the one you want to remove.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
