Changing how long your phone rings

You can choose how long your phones ring before a call moves on to your "When Unanswered" forward, or to voicemail if you don't have one.

Steps

1. Log in to the Voice Portal. (Office managers: first click your name in the top-right corner, then My Account.)
2. Click the Answering Rules icon.
3. At the top of the page, use the Ring for drop-down list to choose the number of seconds.

Tip: One ring is about 5 seconds. So 20 seconds is about 4 rings.
