Log in to your mailbox for the first time
- From your desk phone, the Web Phone, or the Snap Mobile app, dial *98.
- Enter your extension if you're asked for it.
- Enter the temporary passcode from your Welcome Email if you're asked for it.
- Follow the steps the system walks you through (below).
- Hang up when you're done.
What the setup covers
- Your name – used by the dial-by-name directory. When a caller enters the first three letters of your last name, they'll hear your recording.
- Your greeting – what callers hear when they reach your voicemail.
- A new passcode – change the temporary one to something private.
Important: Don't keep the temporary passcode. Anyone who knows it could get into your voicemail.
Tip: Take a minute to record a personal greeting. Many callers won't leave a message on a mailbox with a generic greeting.
