Open your greetings

  1. Log in to the Voice Portal.
  2. Click the Messages icon, then the Settings tab.
  3. In the greetings section, click the speaker icon. The Manage Greetings page opens.

  2. In the Call me at box, enter the number to call. This can be your extension or another number, like your cell phone.
  3. In the Greeting name box, give the greeting a name.
  4. Click Call. Your phone rings.
  5. Answer, record your greeting at the prompt, then press #.
  6. Click Add Greeting, then Done.

Upload a recording

  1. Click Add Greeting, then choose Upload.
  2. Choose a WAV or MP3 file from your computer.
  3. Give the greeting a name.
  4. Click Upload, then Done.

Type a greeting (text-to-speech)

  1. Click Add Greeting, then choose Text-To-Speech.
  2. Type what you want callers to hear.
  3. Click the play button next to the voice choices to hear each voice, and pick the one that fits your business.
  4. Click Add Greeting, then Done.

Last step: To make a new greeting the one callers hear, select it as your active greeting on the Settings tab and click Save.
