Your desk phone works a lot like the phones you already know. There's no need to dial 9 first.
Two ways to dial
Dial first, then pick up
- Dial the phone number.
- Pick up the handset, or press the speaker or headset button.
Pick up first, then dial
- Pick up the handset, or press the speaker or headset button.
- Dial the phone number.
Which numbers to dial
- US and Canada: dial all 10 or 11 digits.
- Local calls: you can dial just 7 digits.
- International calls: dial 011, then the country code, then the local number.
Good to know: International calling is often turned off to protect your business from toll fraud. If an international call won't go through, call UnaDial support.
Handy codes
- *67 + the number – hides your caller ID for that one call.
- *69 – plays the number of the last person who called you.
